Concerning Future Multimedia Content Uploads
NOTICE
Recently due to incoming legislation that further limits who can and cannot have a YouTube account, I have noticed that there has been a shift towards Odysee.com. I've been an Odysee user for years, and I find that, increasingly with each year, I use Odysee more and more.
In short, simple terms, Odysee is a site that uses the LBRY protocol for content. What does this mean, exactly? Well, in the same way that http is a free and open communication protocol that allows anyone to freely create a website independently for all to see via a web browser, LBRY allows anyone to freely upload videos in a way that is independent of a singular for-profit company. Odysee.com provides a convenient way to explore LBRY videos via a website.
I have mirrored all of my content from my Youtube channel to Odysee.com. At this point, I might either upload exclusively to Odysee or make uploads to YouTube notifying people of Odysee exclusive content. If you're curious, you can check it out here.
